The Deep V

Photography by Hayley

Pinstripe low cut silk blouse, celine box bag, high waisted black jeans, gold layered necklaces

If you follow me on Snapchat then you’ll recognise this outfit from last week.  It was officially the first day of Spring that I went braless.  Bras for me are rather pointless, in the words of the confused M&S bra fitting lady who I saw about 5 years ago; ‘I don’t think you really need a bra’.  Of course in the Winter months they act as an extra layer of warmth but in Spring and Summer I tend not to wear one.  This pinstripe blouse featuring ‘The Deep V’ neckline lends itself to non-bra wearers like me.  And in preparation for such a neckline, St. Tropez kindly sorted me out in the tan department 😉  Ok not just in preparation for this top but for my forthcoming trip to Dallas which has come around so quickly, I fly on Thursday!

I need to just address a new denim love of mine.  It seems like every week I have a new admiration for a different denim range, or a particular shape of jeans from a certain brand and that may be true, but I live my life in denim so I like to test out as much as possible.  I’ve recently stocked up on Boohoo denim; these ripped jeans from my last post and today’s black boyfriend jeans are both from the range.  I must admit I don’t find any of their skinny fit jeans to my liking but when it comes to ‘boyfriend fit’ and ‘mom fit’ they’re right at the top of my list.
