The Suede Dress

Back in the summer (yeh remember that season, when it warm!) I developed a penchant for the 70’s trend, I’m re-visiting that today with this amazing suede dress.  My style has evolved a great deal, even since the summer, as I explained about being Inspired in Paris in a previous post.  So with this dress I have put my current style-spin on the look.  I think we’ve established the fact that I love a chunky knit (uh yeh) so as a substitute for a coat I’ve layered this thick slouchy cardigan over the top.  To avoid having ample ‘leg flesh’ on show, I went for my Stuart Weitzman Highland boots which pretty much shroud my legs completely and also add to that retro boho vibe. I cinched in the waist of the dress with this black belt which I tied in a knot at the front for some added detail and to break up the block colour of the suede.  Add in some black accessories, including my fave black nail polish ‘et voila’!

Wow love this look! The long sleeves go so well with the dress, might have to try and re-create the look, I adore it!
