The Grey Winter Coat

We’ve had the discussion about Winter Coats already, and this is yet another one to be added my ever-growing collection, and FIY it isn’t going to stop here.  We’ve also had the discussion about my feelings towards grey, and that also isn’t going to stop here.  The grey winter coat is a classic.  I always find at least one every Autumn/Winter season, although this year I’ve already found two and we haven’t even reached the Winter months yet.  This particular style is a ‘swing’ coat, so as the name would suggest it has amazing movement when you walk.  It’s very chic and has now become my go-to coat for when I’m dressing up a little more, rather than my off-duty biker boots and military coat look.  The best thing about this coat?  The price!  It’s under £25 and comes from one of my favourite online retailers, Romwe.  I have discussed Romwe in the past and given you some tips for shopping with them (sizing, delivery, customs, quality etc) and I am aware there are mixed reviews on their products and service, but I can honestly say that I’ve never had any issues with any of the orders I’ve placed over the last 2-3 years.

what size did u get the coat?

    • 21st November 2015 / 9:57 am

Hi Tiff, I actually got the coat in a size Large because these Chinese sites often come up very small. But my advise would be to use their size guide with the measurements so you know exactly the right size to get, but my motto is if in doubt, go large 🙂 x

Hey Lauren, I always go large with these chinese sites, they always come up small but I always advise to use the size measurements for each item just to be certain you’re getting the right size. x

This looks so nice, hard to believe its so reasonably priced! How do you find the fabric? I spotted similar from zara and itched for ages after trying it

    • 30th November 2015 / 10:40 am

The fabric isn’t itchy at all, the only thing I would say is that the sleeves are more 3/4 length on me because their clothes are cut on the small side, but I am quite tall so on someone more petite it would probably be fine.
