Forever Faux

The weather has taken a serious drop in temperature and I’ve been out and about restocking my winter wardrobe.  One trend I always re-visit each season is fur, never real, always faux.  This season fur is one of the leading trends, it’s everywhere, literally; adorning bags, poking out of shoes, sprouting off phone cases, you name it…it’s got fur.  It was the Chloe pre fall 15′ collection that started the trend of aviator jackets and wide leg trousers and this is what inspired today’s look.  It’s the 70’s at their warmest and most practical, a statement fur collar, wide leg (or flare) trousers and of course, a roll neck jumper.  I’ve been exploring the wares of Wallis and came across the perfect fur collar jacket, which was actually from the petite range, but this gave me the cropped look I was after!  Teamed with these flare trousers (check out the button detail on the pocket) and camel roll neck knit it’s a great look for keeping warm but staying on trend, two things which can often be difficult to achieve simultaneously.

That jacket is gorgeous, there’s a few things popping up I really like in Wallis , miss Selfridge and warehouse rather than Zara and ri for me lately. It always pays to look everywhere doesn’t it . I might have to get that jacket , from the petite section x
