The 3 Boots You Need This Season

Photography by Simon Creasey

Winter is looming and ankles are getting chilly, and that can only mean…it’s boot season!

I cannot get enough boots, they are somewhat of a weakness of mine and I love when boot season comes around and I get to expand my collection.  Every year we have a new set of trends to consider before updating our Autumn/Winter wardrobes and these trends also stretch as far as our footwear.  In today’s post I’ve partnered up with Dune London to bring you my favourite 3 boot trends for the months ahead.

The ‘Western’ Weekender

We all need a little downtime and no matter what you spend your weekends doing; wandering in the woods or perhaps a little retail therapy you need the footwear to give your feet the downtime they need.  Not content this season with sneakers alone for my weekend wear, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect weekend boot, et voila ⭐️

The ‘Sock Boot’

Undeniably the biggest boot trend of the season, the ‘sock boot’ is both chic and practical. I’m wearing a mid-heeled sock boot which is perfect for everyday wear and the tightness around the ankle keeps in warmth. They’re perfect for boot for work if you need something smart and comfortable, but they also look great paired with jeans, skirts and dresses for any occasion.

The ‘Block Heel’ All Rounder

I’m a big fan of the classics, you know, those boots that can be worn with pretty much anything and they always look great. This season those classics come in the form of a block heel. Whether it be a high heel or mid heel, an ankle, OTK or knee high the block heel boot needs to be in your collection this season 🙌🏼
