So guys I've had a little bit of time off from the blog so I could focus on my YouTube Channel launch and now I'm up and running with 2 videos (and a third coming tomorrow) I'm back to bring you blog the content you want to see.
You all know by now of my serious addiction to knitwear this season and you may recognise this oversized camel jumper from one of my many hauls over on my Insta Stories. I just love the cosy feeling of a big ol' oversized jumper, and this one certainly has cosy vibes written all over it. Now I know you guys love to know all the details of these things that I buy and with knitwear I do think it's really important to know a few things i.e. fit, itch factor, washing guidelines etc. A size medium has been my size of choice when it comes to knits this season and I always go for the oversized look which means sizing up. However this particular knit is already designed as an oversized fit so I'm wearing a size Small and as you can see it's pretty slouchy so I'd stay true to your normal size. Right, Itch factor; There is a mohair content in this jumper (26%) but does it itch? I have very sensitive skin and I don't think it itches at all, it's very soft as it is only a mohair mix with 26% also being wool and 31% polyester. I always wear a t-shirt underneath any knitwear so I don't really feel the fabric on my body but as it has quite a high funnel neck I can feel it on the bottom of my chin, and no itch there. As with all mohair mix products this is going to require a certain amount of special attention when washing. I always hand wash my knitwear (and not the hand wash function on a washing machine peeps) then stitch back into shape before lying flat to dry on an airer. I have so much knitwear that it's on rotation anyway so I haven't needed to wash this yet and probably won't need to unless I slop something down myself (touch wood).
If you love knitwear as much as I do then head on to my YouTube Channel and subscribe because I have a video coming your way with 20 of my fave knits for Winter.
