How To Style The Puffer Jacket

Photography by Debs

This week our temperatures here in London have plummeted faster than my bank balance over Black Friday!  I'm one of those people that really suffers from feeling the cold, it makes me miserable in fact and so it's super important for me to have a wardrobe that actually keeps me warm whilst also looking good.  I've teamed up with Abercrombie today to put this theory to the test.

I have a few trips coming up over the next month; Paris, Munich and New York and I know that each and every one of these cities will be in sub zero temperatures.  With that in mind I opted for this burgundy puffer jacket which is by far the cosiest thing I've ever swaddled my upper body in.  A puffer jacket is a fail safe option when it comes to keeping warm this season and you'll be pleased to hear that it's not only their functionality that's winning but they are also totally 'on trend' for this season.  Thanks to the likes of 'edgy and cool' brands such as Vetements and Balenciaga, the puffer jacket is reigning supreme.

I've teamed my Burgundy puffer with a pair of frayed hem jeans, a chunky knit and to amp up the look giving it that 'street style' edge, some stiletto heeled ankle boots.  It's all a bit 'Jenny from the block' but you know what?  I freakin' love it and it!

I never thought that I would be seen dead wearing a puffa jacket, but I think I literally fell in love with them overnight!! 🙂

Yeh I was the same. I used to have a Naff Naff puffa jacket as a kid and never thought I’d go back but all things seem to come back around again x

Ahhhh that jacket looks so warm and cosy! I can’t even deal with this weather! I think it’s so hard to stay warm and stylist but this puffa is perfect. Please just lets go back to summer!
