High Street Dupe: The Acne Velocite Jacket

Photography by Debs

I've always been 'all for' a good high street dupe.  If you have a couple of designer pieces in your wardrobe, shoes and/or accessories you can very easily keep the outfit looking high end by wearing entirely high street and a few cheeky dupes.  This particular high street dupe is way overdue and I don't know about you guys but year after year I've been searching for a MUCH more affordable version of the Acne 'Velocite' aviator jacket.  We all got our hopes up a little when Zara brought out their beige version last Autumn/Winter but sadly they never followed this up with the black colour.  But put your pitchforks away girls because they have finally come through for us!  Available in stores and online now you can grab this rather swoon-worthy Acne dupe for £89.99, only a mere £1810 cheaper than the real deal #winning

If for some reason you're finding it darn near impossible to get your hands on the Zara version then check out these Aviators from River Island, Missguided, Topshop and ASOS.  All equally as gorgeous and Acne-esque!

It’s absolutely stunning, such a great find! May I ask what size you got in the jacket? I’m a similar height and keen to get the same slouchy look!

Just keep your eye’s peeled because I worked for Zara for almost 6 years and I know they re-stock items which sell incredibly well. x

I was just discussing with my photographer Debs how I had completely forgotten I even had this bag, and I also forgot how much I love it! You’re right so sophisticated and chic and it’s also a great size for traveling with too.
I actually have a full post coming up on Hush tomorrow so you might enjoy reading that but in the mean time I sized up in the jumper and got a size Medium so it would fit slightly more on the slouchy size, whereas on the models they have them a little more fitted. Hope that helps 🙂 x
