Wallis Denim Tried & Tested

Photography by Lindsey

Before I head off on my adventure in the USA I had a chance to try out a pair of jeans from the new denim collection by Wallis.  Denim is my weakness and I can't help but hoard jeans but once I find a pair I love, I wear them religiously.  As you know over the last 6 months the straight leg cut has been my go-to shape and now Wallis have created their own version, the 'Harper' which is perfect timing because these are a darker wash which is ideal for Autumn/Winter and a welcome addition to my collection.  Made from a stretch denim fabric they are supper flattering; figure hugging at the thigh and fitting slightly looser around the calves.  I love how a straight leg shoes off my footwear and I always opt for a leg length which falls just above my ankle and the standard length is perfect for that (they do also come in a Petite length).

In today's look I'm teaming my Harpers with a striped shirt with wide cuffs, layered under a navy blazer.  My Saint Laurent Bag and red suede shoes add a pop of colour to the look.

    Don't worry if the straight leg cut isn't for you, their denim range caters for all your denim needs;

'Erin' - High Waisted Jegging

'Ellie' - Skinny Fit

'Scarlet' - Boot Cut

'Demi' - Side Zip Slim Leg

    My jean collection was never big but I did purge my closet two years ago and now I only have one pair of jeans lmao. Because I believe in having different shades for different outfits and seasons, I need to get my butt moving on my jean collection! I love the shirt and bag paired with the jeans 🙂 Also, can’t go wrong with my favourite outerwear – the blazer 🙂

    Loving the darker shade of denim, such a great change for A/W but still not going all black!
