London Fashion Week with La Redoute

Photography by Deborah

The craziness of London Fashion Week is over,  and as much as I enjoy elements of it, I’m pretty darn glad.  I teamed up with La Redoute over LFW and channelled my inner snow queen with this all white look, sans crown.  You may recognise the coat which was a La Redoute staple of mine all through the Winter, and it will probably see me through the transition into Spring.  I layered the coat over this incredible white suit (also available in Navy and Black) by French designer Laura Clement.  I have to admit when I head to La Redoute for my latest fix of French chic I am continuously drawn to the Laura Clement collection, and she didn’t let me down on this occasion, nor has she ever!  To add a touch of SS16 trends into the look I wore this silk mix stripe sweater underneath, doubling up as my thermal layer and really, could there be anything more french that a good Breton stripe?! Non!  I kept the look wearable with some trainers and added an oversized camel scarf and metallic bag to break up the vast array of white.

Love the look but the quality of the suit and bag dont look great at all.

The quality is actually very good, perhaps you just can’t see it from the images. It is crepe fabric so like most fabrics it will crease but it is very well made for the price. The bag is Jimmy Choo so I can assure you it is a very high quality, the leather is so butter-soft, it’s really beautiful 🙂 x

You do look fab, as always! I think its the just the trousers being creased perhaps. On your instagram you have a front lace jumper where is that from. Love your posts!

I love the look of the long coat, scarf, and suit. I also wonder about the quality. And I couldn’t bear to pair it with sneakers but for you it adds a distant and cool vibe. Rest up now that LFW is over!

As I was just saying to Vix, the quality is actually great for the price. Suits always crease easily so in that respect you’d need to be careful. I’m pretty tall so sadly the trousers weren’t long enough for me to wear with heels so trainers it had to be, mind you my feet were thanking me for that after 4 days of wearing heels…they are now planted firmly in my foot spa for some much needed R&R haha x
