The Maxi Cardi

Neutrals are huge for this season, as I discussed in this post last week and I love to rock a neutral look head to toe.  Ok so as I mentioned before it might not be the most practical of outfits but sod it, it looks good.  I’ve used white as my base colour although this look would work equally as well with grey or beige.  Starting with a basic white tee (and I love, love, LOVE these basics!) with a pair of skinny jeans, I opted for this ripped pair just so the look didn’t come across as too polished, I always like a to add bit of edge where I can.

This maxi cardigan is by no means the warmest cover up, but for this time of year it’s the perfect easy-going throw on piece which looks super chic.  I tried this look with a pair of nude flats and it worked well but I prefer heels as you all know so I finished off the look with these nude courts and of course….Faye came along for the ride 😉

Just followed you on Instagram because I follow Lydia and she talks about you and your style so much. I’m so glad I followed, you are so talented in the way you can put outfits together! I wish it came that naturally to me but that’s why girls like you are so cherished by girls like me x
