How To Wear The 70s Trend

The 70’s trend has been one of my favourites this season and I’m so glad it’s staying with us for Autumn/Winter.  This season it was all about those denim skirts but as the months start to turn cooler we’re transitioning into trousers and jeans.  Cropped jeans are certainly going to be a huge hit for next season and I’ve already seen the high street championing these styles at their AW15 press days.  ASOS had so many cropped kick flares we could start the worlds biggest 70’s tribute band!  Let’s just dream about that for a second…….But it’s not just the trousers we need to get excited about, we’ve got a whole range of accessories to sink our fashion teeth into, skinny scarves, faux fur stoles, bandannas, snakeskin belts, all making a massive comeback.  River Island are doing the 70’s trend particularly well right now with their first AW15 drops hitting online and in stores and this paisley print blouse and these patent ankle boots are the perfect example of that.
