Well today I turned 30 and I was always so scared that this number would affect my style and what I would be able to wear.  No longer being in my 20’s would I still be able to wear mini skirts?  My conclusion after much deliberation is ‘YES’, I can.  30 isn’t what it used to be and I’ve been told your 30’s can be the best years of your life, so they better not let me down!

So in today’s post, I am 30 and I am darn well rocking a mini skirt!  The summer season is almost over and I’m already planning my wardrobe for next season and more importantly Paris Fashion Week.  So I’m making the most of the warm weather and getting my wear out of the copious amounts of denim skirts I bought this season.  Bell sleeves have been another love of mine for SS15, and luckily something that we can carry through to AW15 so I’ll definitely don this bargain button up shirt again over the next few months.

Welcome to the dirty 30 club! I sometimes wonder what we can still get away with in our thirties, but it’s all mindset and, you’re right, 30 isn’t what it used to be. In fact, I’m thinking of dyeing my hair pink in celebration. Ha! Loving the outfit. You look amazing ♡

Happy birthday! You look great and I love the top. What size are you wearing. Also does the material crease easily? Have a great day.

Thank you! I got a size 10 in that top. Once it was ironed I didn’t notice too many creases, obviously with those sleeves when you rest your arms down the fabric folds in which can;t be helped but otherwise pretty crease-free 🙂

Em you look fab. I turned 36 on the 12th and always worry about ‘not dressing my age’ but if you love it go for it. We all instinctively know what works and what doesn’t. You always look awesome! Xx

I felt the same when i turned 30 at the start of the year, I agree though who says it should change our style. 30 is the new 20 and all that
