Food posts aren’t something I normally do but I’m expanding my horizons slightly and covering a little more ‘lifestyle’. I’m currently on a wedding diet, and with the big day looming over me at just 3 months away there’s no faltering now! My diet is not the healthiest of diets and so when I choose to go on a healthy eating stint I have to mix it up a little to make sure I don’t get tired of eating the same thing. A few weeks back I stumbled across ‘yogurt breakfast lollies’ on Pinterest and thought that would be a great idea to try. They are super easy to make and I’m not joking…they are delish! I use Asda’s fat free Greek Yoghurt with honey but you can use any kind of yoghurt you like. I’ve recently been adding in Granola and fresh fruit (although frozen fruit works just as well, it’ll all be frozen in the end!). I make a few different version of the lollies, alternating the fruit, so again I don’t tire through the week. All you need to do is pop your chosen yogurt and ‘fillings’ into into lolly moulds (buy here) and freeze. There’s no saying these are just for breakfast, I’ve been partial to a sneaking one of these out of my freezer after a busy day of meetings, and in this current heat, they are the perfect cooling snack. They’re a great healthy alternativeto and ice cream or lolly for kids too!
