How To Be Parisian

EJSTYLE - New Look ripped parisian black skinny jeans, New Look striped shirt, Dune Breanna black court shoes, Givenchy Lucrezia mini bag, Topshop felt floppy hat, H&M boyfriend blazer, monochrome OOTD, blogger, outfit

Today’s look was fully inspired from the cult fash-pack book ‘How to be Parisian’, despite me not even owning said book yet.  OK, so I’ve clearly just nicked the title!
As I mentioned yesterday there’s been a plethora of monochrome in my daily ensembles of late due to the new Christmas arm candy.  Unfortunately guys but this will continue for some time as I’ve already shot at least four more monochrome outfits featuring this new arrival….sorry not sorry.  Today’s look features these incredible ripped (aptly named ‘parisian’) jeans from New Look (would you believe!) and this could be the start of a new high street denim love affair for me!  The striped shirt is also New Look and certainly a wardrobe staple!  I’d even dress this down with a pair of low slung bleached boyfriend jeans in the summer.  These Manolo look-a-like heels are from Dune and brace yourselves guys because for SS15 they are bringing out more colours (including a leopard print, available now!) and some flat options!  I’ve accessoried with a Starbucks cup (standard blogger practice) giant floppy hat, a marble effect Topshop necklace and this really unusual silver leaf ring from Miss Selfridge.
Bonjour Rodney! Mange tout!

That was a great outfit! I live in Berlin so would never be able to get around in the heels, but there are definitely elements of the outfit that I am going to incorporate.

Yeh absolutely, if I need to run errands I often have a pair of flats in my bag. A nice pair of ankle boots would also go great with this look 🙂 x

You definitely have to be tall and skinny like you to pull this off, but it is gorgeous!

    • 10th January 2015 / 11:00 am

Thanks Deborah! I do think as long as you have confidence, anyone can pull it off. Or just switch the skinny jeans for bootcut 🙂 x

love this classic look girl! Just wondering why your jeans don’t look like the new look ones? Your holes are way cooler than the ones they sell. Is there a reason?

I accidentally linked the wrong jeans, sorry! The actual jeans I’m wearing are current stock but for some reason they aren’t available online, they are £24.99 though 🙂 The ones linked were meant to be a ‘similar’ option, I’ve now amended this. Thanks! x
